Our STORY
There’s a corner stool at Patrick’s with a storied history, first as the original owner’s favorite stool as Walter enjoyed his Heinekens and cigarettes. But what really began the naming of King’s Corner came from our late good friend Rick Furbish, who had an expression “It’s Good to be King”. More recently, co-owner Jeff Beetle, who earned the title “Chowder King” over the years by winning contests with his seafood chowder also added to the lore of King’s Corner by frequenting that particular stool.
You’ll find the King’s Corner name over this stool, and our team has proudly raised over $100,000 for the children of the Lakes Region via the Pub Mania event.
For 2024, we are playing to surpass last years total, and we invite you to take part in the spirit and generosity of Pub Mania and the Children’s Auction.
